everythime when i wanna change my graphics to something higher cuz its rly dark now i can do r_gamma 1 max cuz it gives an error above the 1 called:
SetDeviceGammaRamp failed.

when i wanna change graphics in options then graphics then brightness it doesnt change so what can i do about it??

No, it's vista. I have the same problem. But r_gamma 1 is fine for me, bright enough.

i had same problem. try to change ur brightness to low first,and then change it back to normal ( i mean in options )
works for me

CoDUOMP (icon on desktop) -> right click ->Properties->Compatibility->Run this compatibility mod for ->choose windows XP SP2.
